Snorkelling - great fun for all the family!

Snorkelling is an excellent way to explore the underwater world without the need for expensive scuba diving equipment.

About The Course - only £15 and there are no minimum age restrictions.

The Snorkelling programme is conducted in the safety of a swimming pool under the guidance of a professional PADI Scuba Diving Instructor, who will ensure your safety throughout the programme. You will have a fantastic time swimming around the pool and can even use Diver Propulsion Vehicles (DPV) to be transported through the water just like James Bond 007!

You will learn how to select equipment suitable for snorkelling and how use it in the safest and most efficient way. We will teach you how to prevent your mask from 'fogging' (steaming up), how to clear water from a snorkel, the most efficient 'finning' techniques (swimming) and breath hold diving - to ensure that you maximise your enjoyment from this exciting pastime.

The programme includes all your equipment hire and you will receive a certificate of participation upon completion.

The only items that you will need are your swimming costume and an old T-shirt (to keep you warm in the swimming pool).

We guarantee that you will have a fantastic time and will soon be hooked on this exciting underwater pastime.

Enrolment on Snorkelling Course Special Offer- two people for £25 Your ability to swim is obviously a requirement for any water based activity and Frog Squad will confirm that you meet this requirement before you commence any training in the swimming pool. It is also essential that you complete a 'Medical Statement' to confirm your fitness and suitability for snorkelling. Advice on certain medical conditions can be obtained from our Instructors, who may have to refer you to our specialist diving physician - although your family doctor can usually confirm your fitness for snorkelling. All equipment hire is included in the price of the programme (£15) - although we do recommend that you purchase your own mask and snorkel (available from Frog Squad). Children

Kids can also enjoy the 'Try Dive Scuba Experience' and we use equipment appropriate to their needs, which is both lighter and smaller. The PADI Bubblemaker programme (8 and 9 years) is the junior equivalent of the 'Try Dive' (10 years and over). We also offer the PADI Seal Team programme, which is designed specifically for children and keeps children actively diving until such time as they are old enough to enrol on the PADI Open Water Diver course.
