No Dive Club Meeting - Tuesday 3rd August
Owing to the number of members who will be diving at Scapa Flow, there will be no 'official' Dive Club meeting at The Birches on Tuesday 3rd August
Obviously, you are more than welcome to attend the pub for a social gathering - but there will be no training facilities on that particular evening.
In order to make up for our 'absence', we have an exciting evening planned for the following week on Tuesday 10th August - when Rich Walker from GUE will be giving a presentation (see below for further information)
GUE Presentation
Everyone should aim to refine their diving skills, in order to maximise their enjoyment and safety whilst underwater.
GUE training refines existing diver skills, such as buoyancy and trim, awareness, buddy rescue skills, gas management, decompression management and develop them to a point where you become more confident and comfortable in the water.
Rich Walker is the Technical Training Director of GUE and has kindly offered to give a presentation to Frog Squad about Global Underwater Explorers
GUE is not just for Technical Divers and whether using a single tank on a shallow reef dive or conducting deeper dives on wrecks with mixed gases - DIR principles taught by GUE will definitely benefit your diving.
This excellent event will take place on Tuesday 10th August at 7:30pm and should not be missed!
