Frog Squad's next pool session will be held on Saturday 13th March from 5.30pm - 7.30pm at Maltby Leisure Centre, High Street, Maltby S66 8JE and pool fees are payable to Paul and Jackie Weldon

This years event is planned for Tuesday 6th April

Open to Dive Club members only - since membership fees go towards subsidising the prizes and running the event. If you are not already a member and would like to attend, please see Paul or Jackie Weldon or Mick Vickers to pay you annual subscription and receive the benefits!

MSDT - Mick Makes The Grade!

Frog Squad's lead Open Water Instructor - Mick Vickers, recently celebrated success by achieving the prestigious rating of PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer

This recognises the fact that Mick has a wealth of experience as a diving Instructor and is able to offer a range of Specialty courses, training divers up to Master Scuba Diver level - which is the highest non-professional scuba diver rating in the PADI system.

As a 'top frog' Mick will continue to regularly train and lead divers at all levels.

Friday 11 - Sunday 13 June Oban, Scotland *** NOW FULL **** Two days Wreck Diving and includes accommodation (amazing!) - £141

Saturday 31 July - Saturday 07 August Scapa Flow, Orkney Deep Wreck Diving amongst the sunken German High Seas Fleet (absolutely awesome!) - £420 Price includes all boat diving, accommodation, ferry crossing and transportation costs

Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 August Farne Islands, Northumberland Two days boat diving amongst the Grey Seals (fantastic!) - £82 (includes £2 tip for boat skipper)

Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 September St Abbs, Scotland Two days boat diving in the scenic Marine Reserve (brilliant!) - £42 (includes £2 tip for boat skipper)

PADI Specialty Of The Month 2010 - FREE Draw Competition

Throughout 2010 you can enter the PADI free monthly prize draw to win £50 and the opportunity to win a further prize of £500 (retail value) of PADI Specialty Products - simply complete a PADI Specialty Diver course in a specified month.

In 2006, Rob Claridge and Richard Gladman both won prizes. The following year, Oliver Farrington, John Hancock, Martin Stanton and Val Yates also became winners for 2007.

Neil Ford was the overall prize draw winner for the 2007 Master Scuba Diver Challenge and won a fantastic diving holiday for two - to the Red Sea!

There were 4 more winners for 2008 - Paul Weldon (twice!), Adam Morton and Adie Nicholls.

Russ Morris and Steve Hall both won in 2009 and with thirteen winners already in the past four years, the next Frog Squad diver to receive a prize in 2010 could easily be you !
