Advanced
Open Water Diver
- 5
dives (Two Days)
As a qualified
Open Water Diver you will have already mastered
dive theory and the essential underwater skills. It's now time to explore the underwater world and experience different types of diving
and to develop your expertise. So why not
"make the leap"
and be
qualified to dive to a
depth of 30 metres
-
in conditions similar to or better than those in which you were trained.
This course is
all about logging more dives and gaining further experience in different types
of diving.
There is no
swimming pool training or written examinations
in this course - you simply complete the Knowledge Reviews for the types of
diving that interest you most. As usual,
our
Frog Squad
Instructors will then check your
understanding of the material by going through your completed 'Knowledge
Reviews' to ensure that
you have fully
understood all the theoretical aspects of the course before commencing the
training dives
in open water.
You will undertake a total of five open water dives which must include both:
-
Deep Dive (not exceeding 30 metres)
-
Underwater Navigation Dive
The remaining three dives
may be selected from
